Blandy Farm Plant Sale |
I know, what do plants and dog treats have in common? Nothing - but the great folks at the sale have welcomed me 3 years in a row and I am pleased to be back again this year. Enjoy a nice drive to the country and take in many local vendors selling veggie and flower plants, garden related items and much, much more. A great arboretum and a wonderful location so bring Mom out for Mother’s Day at the Virginia State Arboretum. |

Dayton Fall Festival |
Chase Your Tail Bakery was awarded best displayed booth last year so we are pleased as punch to return this year. We will be trying to deck our booth out even better this year…nothing wrong with trying to repeat our win. This is a wonderful time with many, many vendors and all kinds of great things to see, do and EAT! Lots of people descend upon this little town just outside of Harrisonburg, VA to enjoy the festival and all of the vibrant fall color. The event is well run and well attended and a good time is had by all. |

Shenandoah Valley Hot Air Balloon and Wine Festival (click on "Balloon Festival" at the bottom) |
What a wonderful end to Chase Your Tail Bakery’s outdoor festival season. Come early in the morning (7:30am at the latest each day) for the launch of the hot air balloons. The sun comes up over the mountain ridges lighting up the fall color in the trees which makes an incredible background for the launch of hot air balloons from all over the country. If you are going to say so long to the Fall, this is the place to do it. Lots of good food, great Virginia wine, crafts and many musical stages make this a fabulous place to spend what may be one of the last nice weekends of the year. |
